Two children are diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) every day. With your support, Alliana's T1D Foundation aims to help make these children's lives easier.

Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is an auto-immune disease where the body's immune system destroys the specialised cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. As a result, people living with T1D also live with a life time of injections to replace the insulin that the body can no longer manufacture.

As well as requiring injections several times a day, these children also have to follow a strict diet and exercise regime. As you can imagine, this can put a huge emotional as well as financial stress on these children and their families.

With your help Alliana's T1D Foundation aims to make the lives of children and their families living with T1D easier by offering financial support to enable them to access the latest information, medical treatments and equipment.
